CEDAR BLUFF PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES

MARCH 5, 2007 AT 5:00 P.M.

The Cedar Bluff Planning Commission met in regular session in the Council Room at Town Hall, 3420 Spring Street, Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Monday, February 5, 2007 at 5:00 p.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Chairman Herb Sherwin presided and called the meeting to order. Members in attendance were as follows:

Herb Sherwin Billy Harris DeLana Martin W K Summers Debbie Shaw Harlan Starr

Also present was Zoning Enforcement Officer Jimmy Wallace.

Item No. 1: Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Herb Sherwin.

Item No. 2: Approve minutes of the February 5, 2007 meeting

A motion was made by Leatha Harp, seconded by Billy Harris, that the minutes be approved as presented. Motion carried (6-0).

Item No. 3: Old Business.

In Old Business, Zoning Official Jimmy Wallace reminded the Commission that we needed to work on the Variance procedures.

Item No. 4: New Business

In New Business, Chairman, Sherwin, advised about classes available for certification for Commission members and wanted to know if the Town would pay for the certification classes. Secretary DeLana Martin advised she would talk with the Mayor to see if the Town would pay for classes.

Zoning Official Wallace advised he had received complaints about older trailers in the Town and inquired about discussing and setting dates for the ages of trailers allowed in the Town limits.

Item No. 7: Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made by DeLana Martin, seconded by Leatha Harp, that the meeting be adjourned (5:41 p. m). Motion carried (6-0).
