SPECIAL CALL MEETING
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2010 AT 5:00 PM
The Cedar Bluff Town Council of the Town of Cedar Bluff, County of Cherokee, State of Alabama, met in Regular Session in the Council Room at Town Hall, 3420 Spring Street, Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Friday, February 26, 2010 at 4:30 p.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Mayor Ethel Sprouse called the meeting to order. Members in attendance were as follows:

The invocation was given by Council Member Leatha Harp.

PLEDGE
Dee Daniel, the present Town Clerk, was absent and the minutes were taken by Council Member, Mark Hicks.
A motion was made by Council Member Hicks and seconded by Council Member Bond for the Council to go into Executive Session at 4:37 pm to discuss the good name and character of appointees to Town Clerk. Afterwards to reconvene to vote on the appointment.

Appointment of new Town Clerk
Executive Session ended at 5:15pm and the Council assembled in the Council Chamber
A motion was made by Council Member Smith and seconded by Council Member Smith
to appoint Pam Powell as Town Clerk.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2:
Approval of application for EPA grant for Streets and Roads
Mayor Sprouse outlined the EPA grant submission. A motion was made by Council Member McWhorter and seconded by Council Member Bond to approve the application for said grant.
