CEDAR BLUFF PLANNING COMMISSION Minutes of the Meeting January 3, 2010
ATTENDANCE	The Cedar Bluff Planning Commission met in regular session in the Council Room at Town Hall, 3420 Spring Street, Cedar Bluff, Alabama, pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Members in attendance were as follows: Herb Sherwin, Harlan Starr, Misty Ferguson, Leatha Harp, Billie Harris, Debbie Shaw, and Tressie Young.
CALL TO ORDER	Herb Sherwin, chairman, presided and called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES	Harlan Starr made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 6 meeting, Tressie Young seconded that motion, and the minutes were unanimously approved.
DISCUSSION OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 2008-09 AND E-MAIL FROM DAWN LANDHOLM	There was some discussion concerning the current restrictions placed on mobile homes per Ordinance Number 2008-09. According to an e-mail received by Misty Ferguson from Dawn Landholm at East Alabama Planning, towns can not restrict mobile homes based solely on the age of the mobile home. Harlan Starr made a motion to hold a public hearing to abolish ordinance number 2008-09, Debbie Shaw seconded that motion, and it was unanimously approved
OLD BUSINESS	Herb Sherwin will research the state requirements for mobile homes and report back at the next meeting.
NEW BUSINESS	There was no New Business to be considered.
