SPECIAL CALLED CEDAR BLUFF TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 AT 10:00 A.M.

 

The Cedar Bluff Town Council of the Town of Cedar Bluff, County of Cherokee, State of Alabama, met in Special Session in the Council Room at Town Hall, 3420 Spring Street, Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Mayor Martha Baker presided and called the meeting to order.  Members in attendance were as follows:

            The Invocation was given by Council Member Leatha Harp.

 

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1:                      Consider filling the vacancy for District 2 of the Cedar Bluff Town Council

 

Mayor Baker advised that this meeting was called to fill the vacancy for the Town Council District 2 seat left by Rick Sides.

A motion was made by Council Member Harp, seconded by Council Member Pearson, to appoint Ms. Joan May to the District 2 seat of the Cedar Bluff Town Council to fill the vacancy of Rick Sides.  Motion Carried (4-0).

NAY: None
