SPECIAL CALLED TOWN COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 25, 2006 AT 12:30 P.M.
The Town Council of the Town of Cedar Bluff, County of Cherokee, State of Alabama, met in a Special Session in the Council Room at Town Hall, 3420 Spring Street, Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 12:30 p.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Mayor Pro Tem Martha Baker presided and called the meeting to order. Members in attendance were as follows:

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Martha Baker.
AGENDA ITEM NO 2: INVOCATION
The invocation was given by Council member Letha Harp.

AGENDA ITEM NO 3: Presentation of resolution of appreciation to Congressman Mike Rogers for the implementation of Lucas, the canine addition to the Cedar Bluff Police Department.
A motion was made by Council member Sprouse, seconded by Council member Burkhalter that Resolution No. 2006-01 be passed and approved. Motion carried 5-0.
Resolution No. 2006-01 was introduced and the title read aloud.
Resolution No 2006-01 entitled “A resolution expressing appreciation to Mike Rogers for the implementation of a drug dog to the Town of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; directing that said resolution be spread upon the official records of the Town of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; and authorizing a copy be presented to Mike Rogers.
Council Member Ethel Sprouse now presented Congressman Mike Rogers with Resolution No. 2006-01

There being no further business to be considered, a motion was made by Council member Sprouse, seconded by Council member Burkhalter, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried 5-0 (12:38 p.m.)
