SPECIAL CALLED TOWN COUNCIL MEETING
MONDAY, JUNE 26, 2006 AT 10:00 A.M.
The Town Council of the Town of Cedar Bluff, County of Cherokee, State of Alabama, met in a Special Session in the Council Room at Town Hall, 3420 Spring Street, Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Monday, June 26, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Mayor Martha Baker presided and called the meeting to order. Members in attendance were as follows:

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1 Consider
an ordinance annexing properties owned by Harton, Livingston, Barger, and
Summers into the Town of
Mayor Baker called on Code Enforcement Officer Jimmy Wallace to present the maps explaining the location of the annexations.
After due and careful consideration, Ordinance No. 2006-09 was introduced and a motion was made by Council Member Sprouse, seconded by Council Member Sides to suspend all rules and regulations which unless suspended, would prevent the immediate consideration and adoption of the said ordinance. Motion carried (6-0).

A motion was made by Council Member Sprouse, seconded by Council Member Sides, that Ordinance No. 2006-09, annexing properties owned by William T. Harton, Glenda Tallent Barger, John H. Livingston, Blake Livingston, Therese G. Livingston, Ruth C. Summers, W. K. Summers, William T. Harton, Susan Livingston, Russell Harton, Jack Livingston, Stephen Livingston, Ted A. Mills, Gail L. Mills into the town limits of Cedar Bluff, Alabama be adopted. Motion carried (6-0).

NO. 2: Consider an
ordinance annexing properties owned by Enos into the Town of
Mayor Baker called on Code Enforcement Officer Jimmy Wallace to present the maps explaining the location of the annexation.
After due and careful consideration, Ordinance No. 2006-10 was introduced and a motion was made by Council Member Sprouse, seconded by Council Member Sides to suspend all rules and regulations which unless suspended, would prevent the immediate consideration and adoption of the said ordinance. Motion carried (6-0).

motion was made by Council Member Sides, seconded by Council Member Harp, that
Ordinance No. 2006-10 annexing property owned by Terry L. Enos into the town
limits of Cedar Bluff,

NAY: None
It was noted that with this annexation there would be approximately three (3) new businesses added to Cedar Bluff and twelve to fifteen (12-15) citizens.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made by Council Member Sides, seconded by Council Member Harp that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried (6-0).
