Volunteers Present Check to Cedar Bluff November, 2006
A volunteer committee in Cedar Bluff presented the Town Council with an enlarged token check at Monday’s Town Council meeting in the amount of $4,760. This was the results of a project taken on by the committee to have a fun raiser to benefit the Town’s Park with dinner and music at the Cedar Bluff Methodist Church. The committee managed to raise $6386 from the event with net proceeds of $5,761. The rest of the money will be forth coming when it is collected from business pledges. Mayor Martha Baker commended the committee for their efforts to benefit the town and its citizens who use the park on a regular basis. |
