
Forrest Pearson was born in Sand Rock, Alabama, on March 5, 1926. He
lived in Sand Rock until January, 1952 then moved to Cedar Bluff, Alabama in
1952. He is married to Peggy Rose Lockridge. Parents of two sons, both
deceased. He has been a member of Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Church
since 1952. Mr. Pearson attended Sand Rock School and Georgia Military Academy.
He graduated from Sand Rock High School December, 1943. He attended Auburn
University and Jacksonville State University. Mr. Pearson graduated from
Jacksonville State University with a degree in accounting. He received a
Certified Public Accounting Certificate after completing the practice
requirements and then passing the CPA examination. He was involved in the cotton
ginning and farming business for 25 years and was active in the commodity and
stock brokerage business for a number of years and retired from Merrill Lynch in
1988. Since retiring, he has been involved in managing farming and real estate
interests. Mr. Pearson was a member of Cedar Bluff Water Board for more than 25
years. He is a veteran of the United States Army Air Force with service during
World War II.
