Martha Baker is a graduate of Cedar Bluff High School. She has an undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University in Accounting. She has a graduate degree from Jacksonville University in Business with an emphasis in finance. Mrs. Baker lived in Little River Community until she married the late Robert L. Baker. She moved to Cedar Bluff, Alabama where she stills reside. She has four children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She worked at Cherokee County Hospital as Director of Business Office for 12 years and as Interim Administrator for Cherokee County Hospital.  She worked as Gadsden Regional Medical as Director of Information Systems for 24 years. Mrs. Baker taught accounting and computer science for Jacksonville State University for 5 years. She is a member of Cedar Bluff Methodist Church and is the current treasurer. Mrs. Baker served as Council Member for 3 different terms for the Town of Cedar Bluff. Martha Baker is currently Mayor of the Town of Cedar Bluff.
