Business License

A business license must be received before a business begins operation.  In addition, a license is required if you are doing business in the Town of Cedar Bluff, but not located in the Town of Cedar Bluff.  Go to the Town Clerk's office to complete a Business License application.

Application for Alcohol Beverage License

This form must be completed in entirety and returned to the Town Clerk’s Office. Obtaining an alcoholic beverage license can take 3-4 weeks.  Procedures to acquire an alcoholic beverage license are listed below.

1.    Application processing fee is $100.00 (non refundable)

2.    Complete application

3.    Application must be approved by Town Council

4.    Letter sent to ABC Board by Town Clerk’s Office

5.    Apply with ABC Board for State Alcoholic Beverage License

6.    Purchase ABC License after ABC Board Approval

7.    Purchase Town of Cedar Bluff Alcoholic Beverage License and provide a copy of the ABC License

8.   10% tax due each month to the Town of Cedar Bluff on beer, wine, and retail liquor sales (beer and wine sales exempt)
